This is a personal website. I collect minimal data and respect your privacy.

Who I am

This website is operated by Tjeerd Prenger. You can reach me at [email protected].

What data is collected

Contact form. If you use the contact form, I collect your name, email address, and message. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry. I store contact form submissions for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted.

Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics (measurement ID: G-1VY9SZR4TY) to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and what devices they use. Google Analytics collects anonymised data including your IP address (truncated), browser type, operating system, referring website, pages visited, and time spent. This data is aggregated and cannot identify you personally. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.

Cookies. This site uses cookies from the following services:

  • Google Analytics — performance cookies to measure site usage. These are only set after you give consent.
  • Cloudflare — essential security cookies (e.g., __cf_bm) to protect the site from malicious traffic. These are strictly necessary and do not require consent.
  • Vercel — hosting platform cookies for site functionality.

No advertising cookies or tracking pixels are used on this site.

Why this data is collected

  • Contact form data: to respond to your message (legal basis: legitimate interest).
  • Analytics data: to understand visitor behaviour and improve the site (legal basis: consent).
